Yellow Brick Road is a little slow, but not horrible. I wish it had been pushed a little further, as it’s based on one of my favorite American legends: the lost colony of Roanoake, VA.

Zombeavers and Exists get my vote, as I haven’t seen either yet.

Also haven’t seen What We Do etc yet, but for 2014 releases that I HAVE seen, I’d vote for It Follows.

Looking forward to It Follows- I missed that one in the theater.

Another one for the hat– and for this you really have to get over any knee-jerk bias, because it stars Ryan Reynolds– is a movie called The Voices. It’s about a disturbed factory worker who has a son of sam style relationship with his pets. His dog is trying to convince him to become a better person, while is cat is trying to turn him into a serial killer.

very quirky and dark in a happy-go-lucky way. And if you can get past the Ryan Reynolds thing, it’s totally worth it.

Housebound is a great new movie but I think it would play better at Winter Slaughter. (will save for Winter 16) Cooties comes out this summer so I am not sure if it will be available by this summer to us, but it does look like alot of fun!

DUDE BRO PARTY MASSACRE 3. This movie gets everything right about direct to VHS 80’s slasher movies:

I hope with the added shade of hillsides and tall trees, we manage to start watching earlier than we have been able to at previous Slaughters.
Has anyone seen Cockneys vs Zombies yet? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQkYWWJGl6w

Of all the options I’ve seen so far in the thread, I’ve only seen Tremors, Drag Me to Hell, The Fourth Kind, Jaws, and What We Do…
Would very happily re-watch all of these (especially Tremors and What We Do)
Am very excited to see all of the ones mentioned above that I haven’t seen, particularly because of the setting and people I’ll be watching with (can someone bring the Boones and Jujyfruits and breathe on me, so I’ll feel like I’m in Damon’s description of The Strand?).
Particularly excited to see IT FOLLOWS and ZOMBEAVERS. Been holding off on seeing those ’cause I was hoping they’d be Slaughter-fare.
Also – I will eat any and all kinds of meat while watching MEATBALL MACHINE

I was just reading Steve’s post about bigfoot sightings and realized I never saw WILLOW CREEK. I’m a pretty big fan of Bobcat Goldthwait movies. Any chance we can watch WILLOW CREEK?

      Oh Kevin, I was sooooooooooooooooo
eager to see Willow Creek last year.
It was almost unwatchable. So disappointing.
But I think Jeff mentioned a newer Bigfoot movie?

Totally fine with me if we don’t see it 🙂 Sorry to hear it was no bueno, though. I really enjoyed “World’s greatest Dad” and “God Bless America”. Wonderfully fucked up movies . . . .
